Last updated: July 15, 2026 TrueCode ("we", "us", "the app") cares about your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect while you use the app, why we collect it, and how we protect it. 1. DATA WE COLLECT Account information: The email address, username, and password you provide at sign-up (your password is never stored in plain text — it is one-way hashed by our authentication provider). Profile information: An optional profile picture (avatar) you may choose to upload. App content: The names, folder structure, and contents (the code you write) of the projects and files you create. This content is stored on our servers so the app can function. Collaboration data: When you invite another user to a project, that person's email address and their role/status on the project (viewer/editor, pending/accepted) are recorded. Notifications: In-app notification records for events like invites, reviews, and approvals/rejections, and (if you grant permission) your mobile push notification token. Language/device preference: Your selected (or auto-detected) interface language. Technical data: Session tokens required to keep you signed in. We do not use any third-party advertising, tracking, or analytics SDKs. 2. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA - To create, verify, and manage your account and session. - To store your projects/files and sync them across your devices. - To power collaboration features (invites, review/approval). - To notify you by email or push notification about important account events (invites, approvals, rejections). - To present the app in your preferred language. 3. THIRD-PARTY SHARING Your data is shared with the following service providers, solely to operate the app (never sold): - Supabase: our database, authentication, file storage, and realtime sync infrastructure. - Resend: delivery of invite and notification emails. - Expo (Expo Application Services): delivery of mobile push notifications. People you invite as collaborators on a project can see that project's files (access strictly scoped by row-level security) — this is inherent to the feature and only happens when you invite them. 4. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account from Settings > Account; this irreversibly deletes your account, all your projects, files, and associated data. 5. YOUR RIGHTS You have the right to access, correct, and delete your data. To request deletion, delete your account in-app or contact us at truecode.editor@gmail.com. 6. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY TrueCode is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If we become aware that we have, we will delete it. 7. SECURITY Your data is protected by our infrastructure provider's (Supabase) industry-standard encryption (in transit and at rest) and access controls. No system, however, is 100% secure. 8.
